Hannah Kim, 2014 Hye-Ryeong Kim Memorial Foundation Scholarship Winner

We are proud to announce Hannah Kim as the 2014 recipient of the Hye-Ryeong Kim Memorial Foundation Scholarship. She is the latest in a long line of smart, dedicated, Godly young ladies to win the scholarship.

Hannah volunteered through many different organizations, including Stanford Hospital, Silicon Valley Korean School, National Honor Society, Key Club, Fremont High School Leadership, and Milal, a haven for handicapped Koreans to gather weekly to learn skills that will allow them to assimiliate into society.

At Stanford Hospital, Hannah volunteered for four to five hours each week to help at one of the Guest Service desks. Her responsibilities included providing guidance to visitors, escorting patients, and delivering goods to patient’s rooms. Hannah developed the passion to help others in this role and was inspired to become a pediatrician. At UC Davis, she will be pre-Med studying Cell Biology.
